- 13-what do you do during the week? Ha. Well... I teach science & science education at Marquette, I do research in prior knowledge that high school kids have regarding biomolecular genetics, I play jazz guitar and study various forms of martial arts. Sometimes I sleep. I eat a lot & argue with my cat, Simon. I also spend hours at Alterra coffee - reading, grading papers and dreaming of whales and ninjas.
